Warranty
Cellell provides clear and fair warranty coverage across repairs, refurbished devices, and retail products. Warranty terms depend on the service or product purchased and begin from the date your repair is completed or your product is purchased.
Repair Warranty (Phones, Tablets, Laptops & Consoles)
All standard repairs carried out by Cellell include a 12-month warranty on parts and labour.
What This Covers
- The original fault repaired by Cellell
- Replacement parts supplied and fitted by us
- Labour required to correct the covered fault
If the same fault reoccurs within the warranty period, we will repair it again at no additional cost.
This warranty applies only to the original device and customer and is non-transferable.
Diagnostics & Fault Assessment
- Standard faults: Diagnostics are free
- If we cannot repair your device, you will not be charged
Liquid / Water Damage
- A £25 diagnostic fee applies to liquid-damaged devices
- This fee covers inspection, cleaning, and testing and is non-refundable
Repair Warranty Exceptions
Water / Liquid Damage Repairs
- Covered by a 30-day warranty
- Applies only to parts replaced during repair
- Does not cover future corrosion or unrelated faults
Logic Board Repairs
- Covered by a 30-day warranty
- If the repair fails within this period, we will attempt a re-repair
- If unsuccessful, a refund may be issued (excluding diagnostic and non-reusable components)
Refurbished Phones & Tablets
All refurbished devices purchased from Cellell include a 12-month warranty.
Covered
- Hardware faults not caused by accidental or liquid damage
Not Covered
- Accidental or liquid damage
- Software issues caused by updates, apps, or user modifications
- Normal wear and tear
New Devices & Accessories
New Devices
New devices are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Claims and duration are subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
Accessories
Accessories such as chargers, cables, cases, and headphones are covered against manufacturing defects only.
Not covered:
- Physical damage or misuse
- Wear and tear
Warranty duration may vary depending on the product.
What Is Not Covered (All Warranties)
- Accidental or impact damage
- Liquid damage (unless specifically repaired by Cellell)
- Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear
- Software issues not caused by repair work
- Devices that have changed ownership
- Third-party repairs or modifications
Any signs of accidental or liquid damage to repaired parts may void the warranty.
Important Information
- Customers are responsible for backing up their data before repair
- Cellell is not liable for data loss or corruption
- Water-resistant devices cannot be guaranteed to remain waterproof after repair
- Minor cosmetic marks may remain on previously damaged devices
- Uncollected devices after 60 days may be disposed of responsibly
Refunds, Repairs & Replacements
- Refunds are issued only if a device is deemed irreparable after inspection or within warranty conditions
- Retail products follow UK consumer rights and manufacturer policies
- Cellell may offer repair, replacement, or refund at its discretion where applicable
